School Visits in Utica, Michigan

I had a wonderful time visiting six different schools in the Utica school district of Southeast Michigan recently. Here are a few photos I took while I was there.

First, a welcome sign at Dresden Elementary. Note the wonderful drawings that students did to accompany the sign!

Here are some students who posed with me and one of my illustrations at Ebeling Elementary.

As you can see here, my presentations at Havel Elementary were so out of control they had to cancel school on the 15th. (Well, I suppose Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday may have had something to do with it....)

Finally, a shot of me hitting the floor (or sitting on it, anyway) with some of my younger audience members at Havel.
